In this book he covers his activities after he left office; but he reviews Governor-General Sir John Kerr s coup and rebuts Chief Justice Barwick s doctrines. He also reviews, Vietnam and the Portuguese withdrawal from Timor in 1975. He also talks about the Hawke Government and Paul Keating and John Howard. Written at the age of 80 and signed to John Hall regards Gough Whitlam, with original sales receipt included. Interestingly John Hall was involved in the early environment days of the Franklin Dam and was an activist and conservationist through-out the 70s. Rare with these associations.
